Ella Banks Clark

CARRSVILLE – With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our mother, Rev. Ella B. Clark. Ella left us on Oct. 31, 2024 at the age of 77. Ella was born on Sept. 24, 1947 in Carrsville, Virginia to the late Willie and Hattie Mae Banks. She attended Camptown Elementary and Georgie Tyler High School in Isle of Wight County, Virginia. Ella held a bachelor’s degree from Norfolk State University, a Master’s Degree from Duke University and a Master of Divinity from Virginia Union.

To celebrate Ella, we will gather at 11 a.m. on Nov. 16 at Metropolitan Funeral Home, Granby Chapel, 7246 Granby Street, Norfolk, Virginia 23505.
