Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Your Turn

In all of this world’s confusion, threats, despair, and moments of excitement and joy, let us make one resolution that we vow to make standard in our lives. Let us vow to make no decision that does not take into consideration, Deo Volente, this means if God is willing.

This particular expression is new to me. I learned it while listening to Dr. David Jeremiah’s sermon. Dr. Jeremiah used many examples of Biblical leaders, including Paul, who prefaced every decision they made with this phrase. We have been taught, from our youth that we should never make rash decisions in the spur of the moment, that we should pray about it and always ask God to give us permission.

I am not trying to convey to you that I am a saint, or that I have always been a Godly person, I certainly have my faults, but of this one thing I can assure you of: Throughout my long life I have learned that if I wanted to experience success, prosperity, joy, love, happiness and assurance of my valued Salvation,  I needed to include my Lord God, my Creator, in all of my life’s endeavors; otherwise I was wasting my time and efforts.

God is a good God, you will discover that if you include Him in all of your life’s ventures, you will not only find a source of joy, but your life will suddenly become a beacon to others. That is what God wants. After the Tribulation, the seven years of total anguish and pain, humanity will come into, what is called, the Millennium — one thousand years of Christ reining as King in Jerusalem and Satan has been abolished from the earth, people can now enjoy life as God originally intended. This will take place here on this earth. We have no say in this; it will just happen because it is God’s will. Praise be to God.

My message to all who may read this; first, bring your life to Christ, give it to Him, ask for forgiveness for your past disobedience and trying to live your life without Christ. Vow to keep the Living God always close and let Him take the lead in all your endeavors and life choices.

And like many people of the past did, boldly put “D V” in all your correspondences and letters “Deo Volente” If God is willing. This will let people know that the Living God is your constant companion, because that is your choice. Amen.
