BRANCHVILLE–Katherine Milteer Bolton, 87, widow of Thomas Quinton Bolton, passed away June 25, 2011 at Courtland Healthcare Center.
She was born in Nansemond County, a daughter of the late Jethro Thomas and Mary Taylor Milteer, and was predeceased by a sister, Nancy Mann and two brothers, Newman Milteer and Thomas Milteer, Jr. Mrs. Bolton was retired from the U. S. Postal Service in Branchville and attended Boykins Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Neal T. Bolton and wife, Susan of Gasburg and Leon W. Bolton and wife, Amy, of Boykins; two grandchildren, Michael Bolton (Jessica) and Thomas Bolton; one great-grandchild, Makenna Lynn Bolton; one sister, Evie Fowler of Franklin and one brother, Johnny Milteer of Springfield, TN.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 am Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Beechwood Cemetery in Boykins with the Rev. Raymond Bunn officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 pm today (Monday) at the Boykins Chapel of Wright Funeral Home and suggests that memorials be made to Boykins Baptist Church, P. O.
