To the Editor:

Last Tuesday my son’s car broke down on Woods Trail.

I wanted to thank the lady who stopped and let him use her phone, as well as the Southampton County sheriff’s deputy who helped us push the car off the road.

It’s nice to know there are still good Samaritans around.
