COURTLAND—Police are searching for two people who stole a truck from a home in the Zuni area and then wrecked it sometime Friday evening.

The truck was stolen from a home on Tucker Swamp Road and then crashed into a ditch nearby, police said. At least one of the thieves may have been injured in the crash, based on evidence recovered at the scene.

Police found two bicycles that had been left in place of the truck at the house, Detective Cpl. Richard Morris said Thursday.
