Brandii Brinkley and Edwin Powell III, both of Skippers, will marry Oct. 9, 2011.

She is the daughter of Gwen Chapman of Zuni and David Brinkley II of Windsor and granddaughter of Margaret and James Carr of Windsor and Diane and David Brinkley Jr. of Zuni.
The bride-to-be graduated from Windsor High School in 2004 and received a degree in recreation and tourism from East Carolina University. She works for the Boys & Girls Club in Emporia.
Her future husband is the son of Robin and Edwin Powell Jr. of Skippers and grandson of Charlotte Rasnake of Franklin and Thelma Powell of Skippers.
He graduated from Brunswick Academy in 2007 and works for Virginia-Carolina Forest Products in Lawrenceville.
