FRANKLIN—Mary Piperato Dimsey, 60, died Aug. 8, 2011, at her home.

She was a student adviser at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College and a member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Dimsey Sr. of Franklin; daughter, Kathleen Guevara of Ashland; and son, Richard Dimsey Jr. of Wallkill, N.Y.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Plattekill, N.Y., with interment to follow in Highland Cemetery in Highland, N.Y. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at White & Venuto Funeral Home in Newburgh, N.Y.
