The Southampton/Sussex Pony Baseball league closed its season with championship games played in Waverly.

In the Mustang Division, the team from Courtland, coached by Mark Lowe, Bryan Harrup, Ronald Johnson and Larry Little finished 14-0 in the regular season, and 3-0 during the tournament winning the championship game over Wakefield 12-2.
