MURFREESBORO, N.C.—Richard Flood died June 1, 2008, at the Murfreesboro Inn.

Mr. Flood was employed with Smithfield Foods and was a member of

Troop 123 Boy Scouts at an early age.

He graduated from Murfreesboro High School.

Survivors include, one daughter, Shana Brown of London, England; one sister, Vickie Flood of Murfreesboro; and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. today at Hunter’s Funeral Home Chapel, Ahoskie, N.C.
