MURFREESBORO, N.C.—Clyde Judson Warren, 74, of the 200 block of Lewiston Road, died May 9, 2008, at Roanoke Chowan Hospital.

Mr. Warren was a native of Hertford County, a member of Meherrin Baptist Church, a farmer, and the son of the late Emmitt and Cornelia Davis Warren.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Amret Byrd Warren, two daughters; Frances Conner of Murfreesboro and Lynn Parker and husband Timmy of Franklin; one son, Michael Warren and wife Crystal of Murfreesboro; 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many more family and friends.

A celebration service of Mr. Warren’s life was held Tuesday at Meherrin Baptist Church, with the Rev. James Hester officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

Garrett Funeral Home Ashley Chapel, 205 NC Highway 42 West, Ahoskie, N.C., served the Warren family.
