In anticipation for inclement weather related to the possible landfall of Hurricane Irene, Southampton High School has moved its first football game of the season from Friday, Aug. 26, to Thursday, Aug. 25.

The Indians will host Poquoson at 7:30 p.m.

“We’re expecting bad weather to come in and that’s why we moved it,” said Athletic Director Littleton Parker said.
