SPRING GROVE—Corine Parker, 81, died April 18, 2008, at Waverly Health Care Center.

A native of Isle of Wight County, at an early age, she joined the First Gravel Hill Baptist Church and later became a member of the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Parker Sr.; a son, James Parker Jr.; and her sisters and brothers.

Survivors include her daughter, Helen Parson (Herman) of Spring Grove; a son, David Lee Parker (Annette) of Newport News; her twin sister, Irene Judkins Hill of Smithfield; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives, friends and neighbors.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will be in Davis Cemetery.
