Philip Wrenn

YORKTOWN—Philip Wrenn, 92, died April 9, 2008.
Mr. Wrenn was a native of Weyers Cave, and a Peninsula resident for 50 years.
He graduated from Weyers Cave High School, and Dunsmore Business School in Staunton.
He served in the U.S. Army during WWII, and retired from the Civil Service.
Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Helen Wrenn; a daughter, Nancy W. Beaton and husband Jeb of Yorktown; a son, Philip M. Wrenn and wife Lori of Smithfield; and a sister, Mary Susan McDonald of Delaware; four grandchildren, Joseph C. Wrenn of Raleigh, N.C., Jennifer Lefever of Williamsburg, Joyce E. Taylor of Raleigh, and Bradley Harris of Chicago, Ill.; and one great-granddaughter, Madeline Lefever.
A graveside service was held Sunday at St. Pauls Cemetery in Weyers Cave.
Amory Funeral Home, Grafton, was in charge of arrangements.
