MURFREESBORO, N.C.—Archie James Castellow, 85, died Jan. 24, 2008, at Guardian Care in Ahoskie, N.C.

Mr. Castellow was born, April 8, 1922, in Windsor, N.C,. the son of the late Archie James Castellow Sr. and Patty Meyers Castellow.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Jean Castellow.

He was a retired car salesman and a member of Meherrin Baptist Church. He was also a World War II Army veteran.

Survivors include his son, Jeffrey Castellow and wife Donna of Annandale; a grandson, James Ryan Castellow of Raleigh, N.C.; a daughter-in-law, Diane Castellow, also of Raleigh, N.C.; his brother, Robert Castellow of Ahoskie; also a host of loving-in-laws, nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in Meherrin Baptist Church with the Rev. James Hester officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Massey Funeral Home, Jackson,N.C., is in charge of arrangements.
