ROANOKE—Stacie Lea Turner and Daniel Montgomery Shockley were married Sept. 7 in Roanoke.

The Bishop Gerald Hinds officiated the outdoor candlelit ceremony at the home of the groom’s grandmother, Julia Garrett.

Turner is the daughter of Betty Wright of Kill Devil Hills,

N.C. and Bobby Turner of Franklin.

Shockley is the son of Cynthia Willis Creamer and the late Dennis Ray Shockley of Roanoke.
