SUFFOLK—Margaret Bell G. Meador, 81, died Dec. 23, 2007, in Consulate Health Care.

Mrs. Meador was born in Kenbridge to the late Emma and Ashby Gills and she worked as a bookkeeper for Birdsong Peanut Co.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry David Meador; son, Bobby Meador and wife Tammy of Franklin; sister, Dorothy Goodwin of Virginia Beach; three grandsons, Robert Ashby Meador Jr. of Courtland, Robert Aaron and Ryan Shea Meador, both of Franklin; and nephew, Charles E. Goodwin of Virginia Beach.

A funeral was held Thursday in Clarke Funeral Home, 110 E. 5th Ave., Kenbridge, VA 23944.

R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home & Crematory, 509 W. Washington St., served the family.
