WAKEFIELD—Mary Agnes Goodrich, 80, died at her home Dec. 13, 2007.

Born in Surry County she was the daughter of the late John Waverly Goodrich Sr. and Mabel Viola Joyner Goodrich.

She was a lifelong member of Rocky Hock United Methodist Church in Wakefield.

Survivors include her sisters, Charlotte G. Carden of N.C.

and Margaret G. Doss of Newsoms; her brothers, Herbert Goodrich of Tennessee and Ronnie A. Goodrich Sr. and wife Alice W. Goodrich of Wakefield; a step-sister, Esther Wood; step-brothers, Robert Butler and Tom Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her step-mother, Violet Goodrich; a sister, Edith Barrett; two brothers, John W. Goodrich and E. Carlton Goodrich; step-sister, Rose Logan; and step-brother, Fred Butler.

Funeral services were to be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the Purviance Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, Wakefield.

Burial was to follow in Rocky Hock United Methodist Church Cemetery, Wakefield.

The family was to receive friends at the church following the interment.
