SUFFOLK—Laura Verona Lewis Green, 98, died Nov. 22, 2007.

Mrs. Green was predeceased by her husband, Hosea M. Green; and her sisters, Katie Brown, Mae Carr, Olive Tanner, Louise Horton, Lovey Crocker and Lillian Aldridge.

She was a former production worker in Norfolk at the silk factory during World War II and a member of Brentwood Baptist Church in Norfolk.

Survivors include her niece, Janice Holland and husband Aubrey; nephew, Jimmy Brown and wife Linda all of Suffolk; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held Monday in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk, with the Rev. Jonathan D. Palmer officiating.
