SUFFOLK—Joshua Christopher Reece, 18, died Nov. 10, 2007.

He was a senior at Lakeland High School where he was a member of the Future Farmers of America. He was also a member of Holy Neck Christian Church.

Survivors include his mother and father, Lisa C. and R. Owen Reece Jr. of Suffolk; maternal grandparents, J.C. and Mozelle Corsbie of Asheboro, N.C.; paternal grandmother, Thelma Y. Reece of Greensboro, N.C.; aunts and uncles, Laurie and James Baker of Greensboro, Chris and Joanne Corsbie of Asheboro; cousins, DeLorea Baker, Gabby Baker, Helen Smith and Maggie Smith; best friend, Thomas Warren.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Robert Owen Reece.

A memorial service will be held today at 4 p.m. at Holy Neck Christian Church, 4400 Holy Neck Rd., Suffolk, with the Rev. Dolan Talbert officiating.

The family will also receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.

Burial will be private in the church cemetery.
