SUFFOLK—Iva Phelps Herrington, 90, of Anna Goode Drive, died Oct. 9, 2007.

Born in North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Bessie (Godwin) Phelps and was the widow of Jessie Herrington.

Survivors include her brother, Douglas I. Phelps and wife Ann of Windsor; two nieces, Lynnette Hefley and Brenda Hardison; four nephews, Douglas L. Phelps, Daniel T. Phelps, Roger T. Phelps and Timothy L. Phelps.

The funeral was held Thursday in the Sidney F. Harrell Chapel of Harrell and Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. Mike Harrington.

Burial followed in Holly Lawn Cemetery.
