To the Editor:

It is well known how well qualified Sharon Nelms Jones is to serve as Clerk of Court.

She has been committed to learning all aspects of the job in her 30 years there, and has been chief deputy clerk the past 12 years.

As a longtime friend, I would like people to also know what a quality person Sharon is.

She is just as outstanding in her personal life as in her professional life. As a person of great faith, she serves her church as pianist, assistant choir director and as a person of utmost integrity she has earned long time friends such as me.

I don’t know of a more decent person than Sharon.

I am honored to be her friend at and having the opportunity to help her get elected to the job she has worked so long and so hard for.
