RICHMOND—Carolyn Atkinson Bailey died July 22, 2007.

She was the daughter of William R. and Carrie D. Atkinson of Franklin; preceded in death by two siblings, W.R. Atkinson Jr. of Franklin and sister, Rose W. Wilkes of Raleigh, N.C.; and widow of Andrew A. Bailey Sr.

Survivors include two sons; Andrew A. Bailey Jr. M.D., wife Margaret; daughters, Meggie and Emily of Charlottesville and Mark A. Bailey of Lynchburg; and a daughter, Win B. Loria, husband, Dr. Roger Loria, daughters, Orrin and Rachel of Richmond; a number of cherished nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law.

Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. today at Westhampton Memorial Park.

Woody Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
