John E. Glasgow

FRANKLIN—John Edward Glasgow, 100, widower of Mildred Hazel Richards Glasgow, died April 1, 2007.

Born in Huntingdon, Pa., he was a retired Civil Service Logistics Officer. An Army veteran of WWII serving with the 92nd Signal Battalion, he was a graduate of Juniata College. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite.

Survivors include his son, Alan Edward Glasgow of Franklin; grandson, Brian A. Glasgow of Richmond and special friends, Joan and Barry Pavlina. He was predeceased by a grandson, John Alan Glasgow.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Rev. James Hyatt officiating. Interment, with military honors, will follow in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley.
