Joshua R. Padelt
FRANKLIN—Joshua Ryan Padelt, 24, died July 30, 2010, in an automobile accident in Como, N.C.
Joshua was born in Hampton.
He worked in ship repair.
Joshua is survived by his parents, Deborah and Lew Spencer Jeter Jr. of Franklin; a son, Jaiden Michael Padelt; brothers Daniel Humphrey (Jamie) of Richmond and Benjamin Leimgruber (Dorothy) of Norfolk; sisters Amanda Nodine (Alex) of Como, Michelle Jeter of Chesapeake and Karen Dempsey (Jeremiah) of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Joshua was preceded in death by his biological father, Donald C. Padelt.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles “Chuck” Worth officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Bear Path Acres, 34574 Smith Ferry Road, Franklin, Va., 23851.
