Leslie Woulf

Leslie Joseph Woulf, age 88, passed away on July 12, 2010 at Bay Area Medical Center. Born on June 3, 1922 he was the youngest of 13 children born to Euclid and Rose (Lesperance) Woulf. He lived his growing up years on the family farm in Coleman and after High School served 3 years in the U.S. Coast Guard aboard the destroyer USS Coronado from 1943 to October 1945. On May 10, 1947 he married his high school sweetheart Lorraine (Johnson) at St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Pound. Leslie worked for Wisconsin Public Service from 1948 – 1985 and was past president of the W.P.S. ¼ Century Club. He also owned his own agency of American Family Insurance from 1961 to 1985. He was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church for many years, serving in such ways as usher and on parish boards and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Leslie also did many years of volunteer work at the VA Hospital in Iron Mountain and belonged to the American Legion. Leslie is survived by,

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 14, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Peshtigo from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at 12:00 noon. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Peshtigo. Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
