Myrtle L. Mumford
IVOR—Myrtle Louelle Lungstrum Mumford, 83, widow of Moses Beamon Mumford, died June 30, 2010, at Southampton Memorial Hospital.
Myrtle was born in Topeka, Kansas, to Frank and Lena Lungstrum.
Myrtle was preceded in death by six brothers.
Survivors include seven children, Carolyn L. Matthews and her husband Leslie, Linda S. Reeves and her husband John, Roger B. Mumford and his wife, Nola, Michael A. Mumford, L. JoAnn Drake, Catherine L. Rhodes and her husband, Tony, and Shannon M. Zebosky and her husband, Michael; 18 grandchildren Leslie H. Matthews Jr., Mickey T. Matthews, Nancy Marie Reeves, Tiffany C. Turner, J. Danielle Dann, Cathleen A. Rhodes, Mandy M. Rogers, Amy Lena Rhodes, Heather D. Dunlow, Shawn E. Drake, Melonie A. Mumford, Michael A. Mumford Jr., Roger B. Mumford Jr., Diana P. Rhodes, Laura R. Hedgepeth, Brandon L. Hedgepeth, Justin K. Hedgepeth, Jordan R. Hedgepeth; 22 great-grandchildren, Destiny C. Turner, April M. Turner, Shawn J. Merriman, Jr., Sara A. Matthews, Allyssa M. Rogers, Adrian M. Rhodes, Linda M. Rogers, Caitlyn M. Dunnagan, Ethan M. Rogers, Connor L. Perry, D. Chase Dunnagan, Ryan A. Mumford, Jamie L. Drake, Jenna M. Drake, Cavan M. Dann, Reese T. Mumford, Connor R. Drake, Erica B. Dann, Jayden Hedgepeth, Cole G. Mumford, Alyssa M. Dunlow and Joshua M. Mumford; four sisters and two brothers.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 3, at Beaver Dam Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Richard Peerey officiating.
Interment will follow in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, July 3, at Beaver Dam Baptist Church.
