Suffolk—Mrs. Charlottie Henderson Ruffner, 87 of Suffolk formerly of Rochelle departed this lifeThursday life May 20th 2010 in the East Pavilion Nursing Home in the town Franklin, located in Southampton Co. She was born January 2, 1923 to the late Richard D. and Emma Walker Henderson, Sr.
Mrs. Ruffner had lived most of her life in the Rochelle and Uno area of Madison County where she was a member of the Main Uno Baptist Church.
Mrs. Ruffner is survived by two daughters; Virginia Underwood of Suffolk and Joyce R. Harris of Landover; one sister Wyjelia Bell of Dale City; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
Funeral Services, Saturday May 29th 2010 12 noon at Main Uno Baptist Church in Rochelle with Pastor Darnell Lundy officiating. Interment will follow in the church Cemetery. Viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 12 noon until 8PM.
