Zelna H. Parson Sr.
ELBRON— Zelna Haywood Parson Sr., 84, died March 12, 2010 at Nansemond Pointe Convalescent Center of Suffolk.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Cypress Baptist Church. Burial will be at Mount Moriah Cemetery. Parson retired from the Department of Interrior National Park Service, Yorktown after 29 years of service.
Among his survivors are four sons, including Zelna H. Parson Jr. of Ivor; and five daughters.
Poole’s Funeral Home of Smithfield is in charge of arrangements.
