Brenda R. Hardt
SEVERN, N.C.—Brenda Riser Hardt, 68, a former dispatcher and deputy sheriff with the Southampton County Sheriff’s Department, died March 10, 2010 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Richmond.
Survivors include her partner, David Allen Smith of Severn; two daughters, Linda Hardt Bradley and her husband, Donald, of Dayton, Va. and Kathryn Hardt Andrews and her husband,David, of Groves, Tx.; two brothers, Gerald and Don Curtis Trahan both of Tx.; five grandchildren, and her former husband, Jack Hardt of Ivor, Va. She was predeceased by a daughter, Lisa Denise Roig.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Severn Baptist Church with the Rev. Brent Hobbs officiating. Interment will follow in Severn Cemetery.
