PORTSMOUTH—Jewell Eugene Mathias Ellis, 79, died Feb. 18, 2010, at Sentara Obici Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
Survivors included three children, Brenda Hawkins-Worrell, Kimberly Johnson and Paul Ellis; a sister, Maryanne Rose; and a brother, Maylon Mathias.
R.W. Baker and Company Funeral Home and Crematory of Suffolk is in charge of arrangements.
