G. Philip Raiford, Jr.

Courtland – George Philip Raiford, Jr. 70, passed away February I, 2010. He was a lifelong resident of Southampton County, a son of the late George Philip Raiford and Tillie Dunlow Uzzell. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Roberta Atkins Raiford; two daughters, Jennifer R. Metcalf (Steve) and Jeannie R. Allen (Scot); one son Philip Raiford, III (Cyndi); one brother, Merriel W. Raiford (Betty); two grandchildren, Stephen and Georgia Metcalf; and one aunt, Mae R. Brown (David).
