Alice G. Murphy
FRANKLIN—Alice G. Murphy, 77, of the 300 block of Artis Street, died Jan. 14, 2010, at home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Elvin Vaughan Funeral Home, 1717 South St., Franklin, with the Rev. Carmen Scoggins officiating. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery.
Mrs. Murphy retired as a government worker after 25 years in 1994 from Montreal Veterans Hospital.
Among her survivors are a sister, Almarine M. Boone of Franklin, and a brother, Joseph Murphy of Virginia Beach.
