George A. Brown
WAKEFIELD—George A. Brown, 65, died Jan. 4, 2010, at his residence.
He was employed as a meat cutter at Wakefield Great Value and was formerly employed with J.C. Penney as an interior director.
Among his survivors are his wife Barbara L. Brown of Wakefield; and daughter, Bessie Thornton (Lester) of Wakefield.
Funeral services were to be held at noon Saturday at Pocahontas Temple Baptist Church with Pastor Lewis Allen officiating.
Interment was to be in Booker T. Memorial Park.
Poole’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
