Frank N. Harris
COMO, N.C.—Frank Norman Harris, 66, died Oct. 20, 2009, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
A native of Southampton County, he was retired as a pipe fitter for Norfolk Naval Shipyard and a member of Diamond Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Viola Harris of the home; two daughters, Gloria McCreary and Katrina Harris, both of Como; a son, Frank Harris Jr. of Como; his mother, Annie Parker of Murfreesboro, N.C.; two sisters, Gwendolyn Marshall of Rocky Mount, N.C. and Arna Louise Scott of Murfreesboro; and three grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Sunday at Diamond Grove Baptist Church, Franklin, with the Rev. Clarence Myrick officiating.
Burial will take place in Carver Park Cemetery, Murfreesboro.
