COURTLAND—Sheldon Ray Peter Worrell, 67, died Oct. 21, 2009, at his residence.
Mr. Worrell was a native of Southampton County, the son of the late Robert Lee and Myrtie Ricks Worrell. He was the owner of Peter Worrell’s Heating and Cooling.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Diane Keifer Worrell; his son, Keith Worrell of Carova, N.C.; one granddaughter, Chandler Worrell of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Shirley Creasey and Gloria Worrell, both of Sedley and Linda Babb of Jarratt; two nephews, Glenn Creasey and Michael Babb; and special friends, Bonnie and Tim Cantrell.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Southampton Memorial Park with Pastor David Dillon officiating.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8: 30 p.m. Saturday at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin.
