MURFREESBORO, N.C.—Reuben Junius Warren, 60, died Oct. 16, 2009, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville, N.C.
Mr. Warren was born in Northampton County on July 8, 1949, a son of the late Reuben and Lucile Wheeler Warren.
He was a member of Meherrin Baptist Church and the American George Masonic Lodge No. 17 AF & AM, where he had served as past master, being the youngest to ever serve in that capacity.
When his sons were younger, he enjoyed coaching the little league teams that they played on.
He had 30 years of service with Farm Bureau Insurance, serving as an agent and later as agency manager in the Murfreesboro office.
Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Forehand Warren of the home; two sons, Jason Dallas Warren and wife Barbie Winslow Warren, of Durham, N.C. and Brad McLellan Warren of Murfreesboro; a sister, Joyce Parham of Capron; and his faithful companion, “Bogey.”
A graveside celebration of life service was conducted Sunday at Riverside Cemetery in Murfreesboro with the Rev. Dr. Frank Lowe officiating. Masonic Rites were conducted.
