WINTON, N.C.—Elbert Archer died Oct. 18, 2009, at Roanoke Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie, N.C.
Survivors include his wife, Mabel W. Archer of Winton; three daughters, Zenobia Williams of Murfreesboro, N.C., Alberta Archer of Winton and Doris Archer, Newport News; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church Winton with the Rev. Robert Horton officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Reynolds Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling the arrangements.
