Susan G. Baum
COURTLAND—Susan Gray Baum, 52, lost her courageous fight with cancer Oct. 3, 2009.
She is predeceased by her parents William Brinkley Gray and Mary Edwards Gray.
Survivors include her lifelong partner, William “Bill” Davis of Courtland; daughter Annette Crum of Hertford N.C.; son T.J. Crum of Kitty Hawk, N.C.; beloved grandchildren, Hunter of Kitty Hawk; her “Angel Baby” Shea Mary Lynn, twins, Josiah and Exavire and baby Neimah of Hertford; brothers Walter Gray and wife Karen of Kitty Hawk, and Raymond Gray and wife Carmen of Florida; many special friends “Grumps,” Vickie and Ma Jessie.
A memorial service will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in Courtland United Methodist Church. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family.
In lieu of flowers she wished contributions be made to the American Cancer Society and Franklin Cooperative Ministries.
