He says protesting Wall Street is not the answer

To the Editor:

The Wall Street protesters? Seems to me they are creating more of a problem to the economy. They refuse to go get a “McJob” until something else comes along. Some of them, I’m sure, are using their unemployment checks to be there, which working-class people are paying for.

Some are interfering with Wall Street businesses’ ability to conduct their business and make a living. God forbid any of these people come up with a million-dollar idea and need funding from the very banks they are protesting against.

I just thought the whole idea of America free enterprise was to be able to make a life of what you wanted.

And for God’s sake, what is your end goal? Nobody seems to know.

Also, don’t tell me there are no jobs out there. My son got laid off and in two days had four opportunities waiting.

You want to make a difference in the economy then protest Exxon, Shell, meat prices, gas, inflation, health care pricing, freedoms to illegal immigrants, etc. Think about the bailouts. Aren’t taxpayers and bleeding hearts bailing you out now?

I mean, you give some people a free meal and a place to stay and they can survive forever. And don’t get me wrong. I’m not one of the 1 percent — the wealthy!

I’m just a working stiff trying to create a comfortable life for my family.

Just one more thing to remember — life will go on with or without you living yours on Wall Street!
