E. Kathleen Bernard
VIRGINIA BEACH—Emma Kathleen Bernard died Aug. 19, 2009.
She was born Nov. 14, 1932, in Lynchburg, the daughter of the late Mazie E. Kulp and Louis Frascini.
Mrs. Bernard was a resident of Orlando and Edgewater, Fla., for 20 years and worked as a full charge bookkeeper for two firms.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Peschke of Norfolk and Linda Bernard of Melbourne, Fla.; beloved granddaughter, Virginia Leigh Peschke of Wakefield; two sisters, Vivian Harris and Martha Boyce and a beloved brother-in-law, Edward Boyce; six nephews, four nieces and a large group of friends at Sullivan House.
A Mass of the Resurrection was held Monday in St. John’s the Apostle Catholic Church by Father Rob Cole.
H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, was in charge of arrangements.
Burial was in Rosewood Memorial Park and a reception will follow at 961 Sandoval Road in Virginia Beach.
