Phillips would be asset to board

In response to Bruce Phillips’ past coming up now is appalling to me.

It’s not a secret, and almost everyone already knows about it, however it’s in the past. So why now?

I have known Mr. Phillips for over 25 years. He has helped and guided me into the man I am today. I am very thankful for that.

Mr. Phillips has changed his life in so many ways. The testimony this man has is truly amazing. We all make mistakes, he just happened to get caught, however he served his time to society.

Mr. Phillips isn’t selling drugs or anything illegal. He is a hard-working farmer, family man and involved in the community. He should be forgiven by his fellow man.

Mr. Phillips is a dedicated man and has a plan to make much needed changes to Southampton County and its surrounding areas. He would be an outstanding asset to the Board of Supervisors. I SUPPORT BRUCE PHILLIPS.

So get out and vote for Bruce Phillips on Nov. 8.
