Nannie M. Harrell
SUFFOLK—Nannie Mae Harrell, 100, died July 6, 2009.
Mrs. Harrell was a native of Isle of Wight County and a lifelong member of Colosse Baptist Church, Windsor.
She was the daughter of the late Mattie B. and Joseph B. Johnson.
She was predeceased by her husband, Horace D. Harrell; sister, Ida E. Sawyer; and brothers, Joseph E. Johnson and Vernon Keith Johnson.
Survivors include her daughter, Shirley H. Britt and husband E.G. of Virginia Beach; sons, Horace E. Harrell and wife Mamie of Camden, N.C., Bobby G. Harrell of Suffolk, Vernon E. Harrell of Arizona; three granddaughters; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. W.D. Boykin of Newport News and Mrs. E.M. Gallup of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery.
