CONWAY, N.C.—Mary Deloatch Manley, 78, died June 17, 2009, at Hampton Woods Health and Rehab Center.
A native of Northampton County, she was a deaconess, senior choir member and Sunday School teacher at Second Baptist Creeksville Church, Murfreesboro, N.C.
Survivors include her daughters, Sandra M. Williams of Conway, Mary M. Jackson of Burlington, N.J., Carol M. Richey of Oxon Hill, Md. and Laura M. Williams of Hawaii; sons, Lee Manley of Fort Washington, Md., Earl Manley of Gaston, N.C., Roy L. Manley of Bear, Del. and Terry L. Manley of Kuwait; sisters, Hattie Jeffries of Cambria Heights, N.Y. and Charlotte Brown of District Heights, Md.; brothers, Joe A. Deloatch of Rich Square, N.C., Andre Deloatch of District Heights, and James C. Deloatch of Washington, N.C.; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Second Baptist Creeksville Church with Minister Stuart Williams officiating.
Burial followed in the Manley Family Cemetery, Conway.
Wilder’s Funeral Home Inc., Rich Square, handled the arrangements.
