Roy W. Sheffield
WAVERLY—Roy Wynn Sheffield, 56, died June 9, 2009.
Born in Sussex County, he was the son of George Edward and Grace Peffer Sheffield.
He was the husband of the late Merle L. Sheffield.
He was a hard working and caring father and grandfather and is survived by his children, Dale Pope, Ellen Britton, Sherman Pope, Rita Pope McPherson, and Jennifer Jenkins; 13 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; three brothers, Tony, Clarence and Sammy Sheffield; a sister, Mary Harless.
