Willard B. Holland
WINDSOR—Willard Butler Holland, 69, died June 9, 2009.
He was born in Isle of Wight County, the son of the late Ella Butler Holland and Vernon Awood Holland Sr.
He was predeceased by his sister, Alma Ann Rountree and brothers, Vernon A. Holland Jr., Joseph Milton Holland and Charlie Thomas Holland.
He retired as assistant production manager from the Coca-Cola Bottling Plant in Suffolk.
Survivors include his sisters, Hilda H. O’Berry, Della H. Edwards, Grace H. Brown, Dorothy H. Byrum, Jean H. Pavlina, Jane H. Mountcastle and Betty H. O’Berry and husband Graham; brothers, Russell S. Holland Sr.; friend, Shirley Braswell and E. Ray Holland and wife Shirley; numerous nieces and nephews; and close friend, Brenda Babb.
A celebration of life service will be held today at 1 p.m. in Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, Suffolk, with Ren Spivey officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
