Sallie G. Biggs
FRANKLIN—Sallie Gerline Biggs died May 24, 2009, at home.
She was born July 12, 1931. A native of Southampton County, she lived in New York City from early adulthood until residing in Prince George with her daughter.
Survivors include her only child, Adriane Cross of Prince George; two granddaughters, Terece Jones of Prince George and Taris Cross of Petersburg; one grandson, Aaron Cross of Petersburg; five great-grandchildren, TaeVion Williams, JaShaun Jones, Alajah Jones, Aaliyah Jones and Ereyanna Cross; four sisters, Bessie Banks and Theresa Parker of Franklin, Flecture Artis of Severn, Md. and Marion Small of New York; one brother, Cary Banks of Trenton, N.J.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday at White Oak Spring Baptist Church, Courtland.
Elvin Vaughan was in charge of arrangements.
