Beatrice B. Darden
COMO, N.C.—Beatrice B. Darden, 73, died May 15, 2009, at Down East Health and Rehabilitation Center in Gatesville, N.C.
She was a native of Hertford County.
Survivors include three sons, Otis Darden of Meridian, Idaho, Herbert Darden Jr. of Franklin and Robert Darden of Kinston, N.C.; one daughter, Alice Darden of Como; one brother, John Bell of Philadelphia, Pa.; one sister, Rennie Dennis of Pennsylvania; and three grandchildren.
The funeral was held Tuesday at Mill Neck Baptist Church in Como with the Rev. Timothy Thomas officiating.
Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, N.C., handled the arrangements.
