Travis D. Washington
FRANKLIN—Travis Deoin Washington, 19, died May 16, 2009.
He was born Oct. 25, 1989, to Pamela Phillips and Keith Washington.
He was a native of King and Queen County and an employee of Riverside Convalescent Center, West Point.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, ‘Papa’ Willie Amos Phillips; and a sister, Lauren Hannah Washington.
He leaves his precious memory to his mother and stepfather, Pamela and Alvin Brown; his father and stepmother, Keith and Lana Washington; his maternal grandmother, Marie Phillips ‘Nannie’ and his paternal grandmother, Alma Washington; one sister, Hannah Washington; four brothers, AJ and De’Andre Brown, Chase and Chance Washington; three aunts, Kathleen Brady (Craig), Ivy Brodie (Louis) and Marilyn Billups; four uncles, William Washington, Amos Phillips (Delina) Terry and Kelvin Phillips; and a devoted friend, Shannon Brown.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at J.K. Redmond Funeral Home, Shacklefords. The funeral service will be held at noon Saturday at King and Queen Central High School.
Interment will follow in First Baptist Church Hockley Cemetery.
