Hugh W. Horner Sr.
COURTLAND—Hugh W. Horner Sr., 72, died May 16, 2009.
He was the son of the late Jack Harper Horner and Gertrude Etta Oslin.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 33 years, Sybil McLauchlin Horner; daughter, Marlene Barger; son, Hugh W. Horner Jr.; two stepdaughters, Linda Wallace and Cheryl Greiling; stepson, Richard Randall, predeceased by stepson, Mark Randall; 17 grandchildren; two great-grand- children; brother, David Horner; and predeceased by brothers, Jack Horner and Mike Horner.
A celebration of life service will be at Liberty Christian Fellowship, 3406 Jackson St., Portsmouth, today at 3 p.m.
There will not be a graveside service because he is donating his body to science.
Friends may join the family at 4241 Meadow Wood Drive following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
