Hollis F. Groves
FRANKLIN—Hollis Furman Groves, 59, died May 10, 2009, at Southampton Memorial Hospital.
Born in Suffolk, she was the daughter of the late Margaritte T. and William Ray Furman.
Mrs. Groves was the manager of a convenience store.
Survivors include her daughters, Annie Groves and Margaret Groves of Portsmouth; son, Richard Vernon Calonder Jr. and wife Jennifer of Franklin; grandchildren, Raina and Gavin Calonder; brother, Marvin Furman; several nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a memorial service Saturday at 2 p.m. in the home of Debbie Sleasman, 3928 Deep Run Drive, Chesapeake, VA 23321.
